Investing in Ukraine as a foreigner

6 guides · Updated

A foreigner can invest in Ukraine through a wholly owned company, a stake in an existing one, property or a contract, all listed in Article 3 of Law No. 93/96-ВР. Profit leaves after tax under National Bank limits: dividends up to EUR 1 million a month, once the company is 12 months old (NBU Resolution No. 18). An investment of USD 100,000 opens the route to permanent residence.

Martial law is in force, most recently extended for 90 days from 31 October 2026. It shapes the currency rules and the physical risk, and the guides below follow it. Each one cites the law, the article and the version checked.
